Whitley, Coventry is a suburb of Coventry in England. It looks like a nice place.

Whitley was the name of a character in A Different World, a spinoff of the Cosby Show. Whitley was harsh, yet fair. Pretty, yet tough. She had a southern accent.

Whitley was played by Jasmine Guy. I always liked Jasmine Guy. Maybe I still do, I don't know. I haven't seen her in a while. I like the last name Guy. I also like the first name Guy.

There have been many TV spinoffs. Laverne and Shirley was a spinoff of Happy Days. Empty Nest was a spinoff of The Golden Girls. Frasier was a spinoff of Cheers. I love spinoffs. They make me feel like the TV world is real. Kind of like my life.

Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania

Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania is a borough northeast of Pittsburgh. Reynoldsville is in a soft coal region. In the past it had many mills and a macaroni factory.

I like factories that sound like they are the setting for a children's book. A macaroni factory is one example. Other examples include a dough factory, a button factory, and a molasses factory. I know factories like this exist in the real world, in the adult world, but mostly they sound like children's books.

Also, I like macaroni. Especially spirals. Kraft spirals. Those shits are so good.

Plettenberg

Plettenberg is a town in Germany. Germany is a country in Europe. Europe is a continent on Earth. Earth is a planet in the Solar System. The Solar System is a group of bodies orbiting a star in the Milky Way galaxy. Milk is a beverage that comes from a breast. A breast is more delicious on some animals than on others. But that's all in the eye of the beholder. For example, I like chicken breast, but a lion prefers zebra breast. It's nonsense to say that one animal's breast inherently tastes better than another's.

And that brings us back to Plettenberg, a town in Germany. Life is a round-trip journey.

Mud Island, Memphis

Mud Island, Memphis is a small peninsula in Memphis encircled by the Mississippi River and the Wolf River Harbor. It has a museum, restaurants and an amphitheater. One way to get there is by monorail.

Mud can be a lot of fun. I enjoy mud soccer.

Lagro Township, Wabash County, Indiana

Lagro Township, Wabash County, Indiana is a township in Indiana.

In the year 2000, its population was 3,158.

There are seven cemeteries in Lagro Township. One of them is called Independent Order of Odd Fellows. I want to be buried there when I die.

Have you heard of the Odd Fellows? I hadn't. But now I have. I think it might be famous, but not to me. Can things be famous to one person but not famous to another? I think so. To me, I'm the most famous person in the world.

Odd Fellows is a fraternal organization.

Katy Trail (Dallas)

Katy Trail (Dallas) is a path in Dallas that you can rollerblade or bike or hike on. It follows the abandoned Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad line.

The Katy Trail is part of a bigger project in Dallas to replace all the old abandoned railroad tracks with recreational paths. I like this idea. I'm in favor of de-abandoning things.

The project is being carried out by an organization called The Friends of Katy Trail. I support their efforts, but I think they should know that you can't really be friends with a trail. You can like a trail, and you can enjoy using it recreationally, and you can tell it your problems if you want, but you can never really be friends.

Catamount, Massachusetts

Catamount, Massachusetts is an old village that doesn't exist anymore. In the year 1812, the schoolhouse in Catamount was the first to fly the United States flag out front. That schoolhouse doesn't exist anymore either.

Catamount was abandoned as a village because the people found it too remote and mountainous. Now visitors come to the area when they want to go somewhere remote and mountainous.

A catamount is an animal. Depending on the region it lives in, it can be called puma or mountain lion or panther or cougar. Nowadays, when you say cougar people think of middle-aged women like Demi Moore, who eat younger men. But catamounts eat deer, elk and bighorn sheep.

Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

Palm Beach Gardens, Florida is a city north of West Palm Beach. Palm Beach Gardens is the current or former home of many notable people, almost all of them professional athletes. Past and/or present residents include Venus and Serena Williams, who have won 17 Grand Slam titles between them; Jimmy Key, who pitched for two World Series-winning teams; and Celine Dion, who likes hockey.

According to Wikipedia, the land that is now Palm Beach Gardens was just cattle ranches, pine forest, and swamplands until 1959, when insurance magnate John D. MacArthur decided to build a city. Not long after, MacArthur was transporting an 80-year-old banyan tree from nearby Lake Park when it fell and broke some telephone and telegraph lines, leaving Miami isolated from the outside world for a while.

Also, Palm Beach Gardens is home to Playmobil Fun Park, which we should all go to as soon as possible.
